Description
Sudden cardiac arrest can happen to anyone at any time. survival is dramatically reduced without early intervention and defibrillation.
The risk of death can be reduced if you have a defibrillator in your workplace and know how to use it. Devices are becoming more and more readily available.
Every second matters and this course will give you the confidence to act quickly and effectively. Most importantly, the course will also teach defibrillator operators how to perform effective CPR
Objectives
On completion of the course, delegates will be able to recognize and deal with:
- The principles of First Aid
- Legalities
- Emergency Management Procedures.
- Unconscious casualties
- Recognizing AED machines
- Using an AED device
- Anaphylaxis & Epi Pen Use
- CPR

There are no Prerequisites for this course.

The course is ideal for Appointed First Aiders and for anyone who feels that knowledge in the subject would be useful to their company or community.
